What First-Time Drivers Should Know About Chevy Lease Deals

If you're considering Chevy lease deals, it's worth first understanding how leasing works! For a first-time lessee, terms such as mileage allowance, lease duration, and lease-end options can feel unfamiliar. The good news is that the basic idea is straightforward: leasing lets you drive a new Chevrolet for an agreed-upon time period and mileage. At LaFontaine Chevrolet St. Clair, we know that first-time lessees often have practical questions. How does leasing differ from buying? How much can you drive? What happens if the vehicle has excess wear? And what can you do when the lease ends? Understanding those answers can make it easier to determine whether leasing fits your driving habits. Leasing vs Buying a Chevrolet The biggest difference between leasing and buying is what happens during and after the contract. A typical lease lasts for 24 or 36 months, with a mileage allowance established as part of the agreement. Lease payments cover the vehicle's use and a portion of its value during the lease term. With buying, payments cover the vehicle's cost over the course of the financing contract, and mileage is unlimited. Once the financing contract is paid off, you own the vehicle. Leasing instead gives you a defined period of use before you decide what to do next. That distinction is important for first-time lessees. If you like changing vehicles every few years and your driving habits fit within a contracted mileage allowance, leasing may be worth considering. If you expect to keep the same vehicle for many years or drive without mileage restrictions, buying may make more sense. Look Beyond the Monthly Payment A monthly payment is only one part of a lease. Your agreement also establishes important terms such as the lease duration, mileage allowance, and other financial and vehicle-use requirements. Before signing, take time to review the entire agreement and ask questions about anything unclear. Understanding the terms upfront can help you plan for your lease and avoid unexpected costs later. At LaFontaine Chevrolet St. Clair, we can help you understand the factors that go into a lease so you can approach it with a clear idea of what you're agreeing to—especially if you're leasing for the first time. Choose a Suitable Mileage Allowance Mileage is one of the most important things to consider before leasing. Your mileage allowance is established in the lease agreement, so your normal driving habits should play a major role in determining which allowance makes sense for you. Start with your everyday routine. Think about your commute, errands, school or family activities, weekend drives, and longer trips. A driver with a short commute may have very different needs from someone who regularly travels long distances. It's also smart to think about how your routine could change. A new job, a move, or more frequent road trips could increase the number of miles you put on your Chevy. Estimating your expected mileage before signing can help you select a lease that better matches the way you drive. Why Mileage Matters at the End of the Lease Going over the mileage allowed by your lease can result in additional charges. The specific mileage allowance and applicable charges are established by your lease agreement, so it's important to understand those terms before you sign. When you're comparing leasing with buying, keep in mind that a lease includes a mileage allowance, whereas a purchase doesn't have contractual mileage limits. You don't need to predict every mile you'll drive over the next few years. Rather, make a realistic estimate based on your current routine and consider whether major changes could affect it. If you regularly take long road trips or have a lengthy commute, factor those miles into your decision from the beginning. Take Care of Your Leased Chevy Mileage isn't the only consideration during a lease. The condition of your vehicle can also matter when the lease ends. Normal driving naturally leaves some signs of use, but a leased vehicle is subject to the condition requirements in your agreement. You may be responsible for excess wear and use when returning the vehicle, depending on the terms of your lease. Certain lease agreements can also include responsibilities related to maintenance, repairs, and applicable disposition fees. For you, that means treating your Chevy with the same care you'd give any vehicle you plan to keep for several years. Follow the required maintenance schedule, pay attention to noticeable damage, and don't ignore problems that could become more serious. Make Vehicle Care Part of Your Routine You don't have to worry about every minor sign of normal driving. The important thing is to understand the standards that apply to your particular lease and keep the vehicle properly maintained. As the lease period approaches its end, review the vehicle's condition and the requirements in your agreement. Addressing maintenance needs and significant damage ahead of time can help you prepare for the return process and understand what to expect. Know Your Lease-End Options One of the most common questions from first-time lessees is what happens when the contract ends. Crucially, you aren't required to purchase the Chevy you've been driving. Depending on the terms of your agreement, you may be able to return the leased vehicle, lease or purchase another vehicle, or purchase the vehicle you're currently leasing. Your lease agreement will outline the options available to you and any applicable requirements or costs. In some cases, you may also have the option to purchase your leased vehicle before the scheduled end of the lease, subject to the applicable terms. If you're considering this option, review your agreement so you understand the purchase process and any associated costs. Your Needs Can Change A lot can happen during a typical lease. Your commute could change, your household could grow, or you could find that your driving needs are different from what they were when you started the lease. That's one reason it makes sense to wait until you're nearing the end of the agreement before deciding which path is best for you. You can consider your current driving habits and financial situation rather than trying to predict everything years in advance. If you plan to return the vehicle, give yourself time to review the lease-end requirements and prepare the vehicle for the return process. This can make the transition to your next vehicle more straightforward. Is Leasing Right for You? For a first-time lessee, the best place to start is with your own driving habits. How many miles do you normally drive? Do you like changing vehicles every few years? Would you rather have a defined lease period or work toward owning your Chevy? Leasing can be appealing if you enjoy driving a new vehicle and your mileage needs fit comfortably within a lease agreement. Your payments are based on the terms of the lease, and you'll have a defined period for using the vehicle before reaching the end of the agreement. Buying offers a different ownership path. There isn't a contractual mileage limit, and once you've completed the financing agreement, the vehicle is yours; this makes buying a consideration for drivers who plan to keep their Chevy for many years or who expect to drive significant mileage. Neither option is automatically right for every driver. The best fit depends on how you use your vehicle and what you want from your next automotive agreement. Start Your First Lease With the Basics Leasing doesn't have to be complicated. Before committing to a Chevy lease, focus on four things: the contract terms, your expected mileage, the vehicle's upkeep, and your lease-end options. At LaFontaine Chevrolet St. Clair, we're here to help you understand those considerations as you explore your options. Taking the time to understand your agreement can make the leasing process much more comfortable, especially if this is your first time. Ultimately, Chevy lease deals are about more than a monthly payment; a lease establishes how long you'll drive the vehicle, how much you can drive it, and what options are available at the end of the agreement. Understanding these basics gives you a starting point for deciding if leasing fits your needs.

Whether you have a compact SUV in mind or something smaller, you're sure to find what you're looking for in Chevy's used SUV lineup, which has all the features you want for less. Chevy Equinox One of the top favorites for commuters is the compact Equinox. It showcases just enough space on board without being bulky to drive, exhibiting car-like handling and unmatched versatility. It's great on gas, available with AWD for inclement winter weather, and affordably priced. If you want to take advantage of advanced features, we recommend models from the Equinox's third generation, specifically those from 2022 and newer that sport revised styling elements. From a revamped front end with show-stopping lighting elements to French stitching and additional high-quality appointments in top-tier trims, these models will surely enhance your daily drive. You will also find that the Equinox models from this generation are loaded with the tech today's commuters need. This includes access to large touchscreens, Wi-Fi capabilities, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an impressive suite of standard safety tech. If you're looking for a well-rounded compact SUV, the Equinox is a bestseller for a reason. Chevy Trailblazer If you're looking for an even smaller daily driver, the subcompact Trailblazer is a must-see. Making its way back onto the scene for the 2021 model year after a hiatus, the Trailblazer shows off a smaller build than prior models, making it a great city commuter and daily driver. It offers exceptional efficiency to your ride, as well as eye-catching features inside and out. Its sporty looks add a bit of athleticism to your mundane drive to the office, while its small size makes it effortless to fit into even the most challenging parking spaces in the city. It's also highly affordable, making it a wonderful choice for cost-conscious drivers everywhere. We recommend models from its debut year, as you'll be able to take advantage of plenty of advanced tech, modern design elements, and all the features today's drivers are seeking, all at an even more affordable price. From chrome accents across many trims to cozy upholstery and fold-flat rear seats for added cargo space, the Trailblazer has it all. Stylish Daily Drivers If you envision traveling to all your China Township destinations while turning heads along the way, we have a few models in our used inventory designed to impress. With sleek bodywork and elegant features inside, these daily travelers are style icons. Chevy Blazer Drivers seeking a bit more space without having to upgrade to a bulky full-size SUV will appreciate what the midsize Blazer offers their ride. This stylish machine is a looker from front to back, offering sporty design touches throughout, reminiscent of the performance-enhanced Camaro. From round air vents to a thrill-inducing interior, the Blazer is a unique SUV. It perfectly blends this air of athleticism with stunning styling cues to make it a winner for drivers who want to stand out in a crowd. It returned in 2019 after some time off, but if you want to take advantage of enhanced features, we recommend opting for models from 2023 onward. These models showcase can't-miss grille designs and lighting elements, as well as captivating wheel options that really complement their mesmerizing style. Plenty of tech can be found in these models as well, including a large 10.2-inch touchscreen and wireless device charging capabilities to add even more satisfaction to your time on the road. Chevy Trax A subcompact SUV that really draws in a crowd is the Chevy Trax. It took a brief break for the 2023 model year, re-emerging in 2024 as a revitalized model. With a slightly larger stance than before, the Trax now offers enhanced legroom and more space for gear, while also incorporating sleek styling to amplify its appeal on the streets. This is why we recommend models from its second generation, which debuted for the 2024 model year. These models show off Blazer-inspired styling, an arsenal of stylish trims to choose from, and access to creature comforts in higher-level trims, like heated seats, sunroofs, and heated steering wheels. You'll also find a plethora of tech inside, including an optional 11-inch infotainment display, wireless smartphone integration, and an available wireless phone charger. If you want to stand out, while also having access to all of the tech features you demand, the second-generation Trax is worth a closer look. Family Friendly Many families choose to call China Township home. This demographic of drivers seeks out something different in their vehicles. They require ample space for people and gear, as well as sturdy builds and advanced safety tools to ensure a secure ride with their precious cargo in tow. If this is you, then you'll want to pay attention to these family-oriented models. Chevy Traverse If you don't want to drive a cumbersome full-size SUV around town, the midsize Traverse is the next best thing. It has three rows and seating for up to eight, making it a great family accommodator. We recommend checking out models from the Traverse's third generation, which debuted for the 2024 model year. These models paint the family-friendly Traverse in a more rugged light, appealing to active families and those who prefer to spend their weekends out at the campsite. Adventure-ready trims come with all-terrain tires, lifted suspensions, and more ready-for-anything elements. High-end trims offer access to Super Cruise hands-free driving technology and a large 17.7-inch touchscreen. Chevy Tahoe Those who do need the space and capabilities of a full-size SUV will love what the Tahoe brings to the journey. With three rows and seating for up to eight, plus up to 122.9 cu.ft. available for gear with the seats folded down, the Tahoe is one family-friendly shuttle. If you want to take advantage of more advanced features, we advise choosing models from the Tahoe's fifth generation, which debuted in 2021. You'll be able to enjoy a slightly larger design to accommodate more, as well as an optional 10.2-inch infotainment display, a rear-seat entertainment system, and unbeatable safety tech to protect your youngsters in transit. Choosing the Right SUV for You A used Chevy allows you to enjoy even lower pricing on already-affordable models, while also being able to get exactly what you want in your vehicle. Whether you're seeking out a large and accommodating family vehicle or a nimble commuter, you'll certainly find what you're looking for in Chevy's impressive inventory. Drivers who don't want to settle for their vehicles will want to explore what Chevy has to offer, especially the used selection here at LaFontaine Chevrolet Buick GMC St. Clair.

Three Smart, Safe, and Spacious SUVs for Parents to Buy Pre-Owned

You're on the hunt for a great family-focused SUV. Maybe you're expecting your first little one, or you're expanding your crew. Either way, if you plan on packing more than one row with kiddos, you need the right vehicle—and as a trusted used car dealership, we can point you toward a three-row SUV that aligns with your budget. Today, we're going over three of our favorite large SUVs: the Chevy Suburban, the GMC Yukon, and the Buick Enclave. We'll be examining the most recent model years, as these iterations have elements that closely mirror what the current models offer. However, since they are pre-owned, they carry appealing price tags, perfect for families watching their spending. Chevy Suburban (2021-2023) The Chevy Suburban is a classic full-size SUV that has been part of the bowtie brand's lineup for decades. With seating for up to nine passengers, it's ready for a baseball team, a school field trip, or a cross-country excursion with the family. In 2021, Chevy reintroduced the Suburban with a longer wheelbase, providing more legroom for second- and third-row passengers. So if you're dealing with teenagers sprouting up like bean stalks, they should have plenty of room in the Suburban. One of the Suburban's most family-friendly features might be Teen Driver mode. This is a beloved Chevy feature that not only encourages safe driving behaviors among teens but also facilitates honest conversations between parents and teens. Teen Driver allows parents to set limits on certain vehicle functions, such as the car's maximum speed and the sound system's volume, so you can prevent kids from driving recklessly or blasting music so loudly that they get distracted. Teen Driver also generates a report card that shows you things like how many times your teen's driving triggered the automatic emergency brakes and how often they exceeded the posted speed limit. With this report card, you can skip the truth-fudging and get down to discussing better behind-the-wheel behaviors. You'll also find an available rear-seat entertainment system, which is great for keeping little ones occupied. It gets you two 12.6-inch screens mounted on the backs of the front seats. With Wi-Fi wireless projection capability, this system allows kids to stream content from their devices directly onto these two screens, so they can enjoy movies and shows on long drives, rather than asking when you'll arrive. GMC Yukon (2021-2023) Are you interested in a large SUV from GMC? Check out the Yukon, a full-size SUV known for its ultra-smooth ride and spacious interior. Plus, with the extended-length Yukon XL, you can enjoy some serious rear legroom and cargo space. Many busy families appreciate this model's highly configurable rear seats, which make it ideal for hauling large cargo loads. Its second-row seats can be folded down with the push of a button. They also tumble down, creating a flat cargo area that's ideal for coolers, pet kennels, science projects, and other bulky items. This SUV also boasts an available rear-seat entertainment system, ensuring it's ready to keep finicky youngsters occupied on the road. A standout feature of the Yukon, however, has to be its 8,400 lbs of towing strength. We love recommending the Yukon to adventurous families who want the ability to take vessels like boats and campers along for the journey. Any parent can appreciate a safe vehicle, and the Yukon has a generous suite of driver assistance features. With lane change alert and side blind zone alert, it lets you know when it is and isn't safe to change lanes, monitoring hard-to-see spots for you. A rear cross-traffic alert tells you when someone is approaching your rear when you're in reverse. So when you're backing out of a driveway, and your child distracts you, your Yukon has you covered. Front pedestrian braking will likewise prevent collisions with people on foot; this can come in handy when you live in the suburbs, as kids may run out into the street. At the rear, a hands-free power-programmable liftgate makes loading the trunk easy. You can adjust the liftgate's opening height, too, setting it high for tall users or low to avoid scratching a carport ceiling. Buick Enclave (2021-2023) If you are looking for accessible luxury, a used Buick is always a smart choice. The Enclave delivers the upscale feel for which the brand is known, as well as family-friendly perks. While not as large as the Yukon and Suburban, it's perfect for those who need seating for seven, and its highly configurable seats can keep up with your days. The Smart Slide second-row bench slides forward, allowing third-row passengers easy access to their seats. Then, the power-folding third row lets you create extra cargo space in an instant. With the second and third rows down, you can have over 97 cu.ft. of cargo space, which is pretty impressive for a three-row SUV. Busy parents will love that this model is compatible with Amazon Alexa. That means you can utilize all your favorite Alexa features from the road, such as controlling smart home devices—so you can preheat your smart oven before you get home, making meal prep a bit easier. You can also turn on the porch lights, so you don't return to a dark property. You can ask Alexa to add items to your shopping list, too, so when your kids complain that you're out of their favorite juice boxes, you know what to do. You can likewise ask Alexa your burning questions and get useful information, such as weather and traffic reports. This model also has a hands-free programmable power liftgate. Just kick your foot beneath the bumper with your key fob on your body, and the trunk will open automatically. There's even more to this SUV's cargo perks than meets the eye, as it offers ten inches of under-floor storage area, so you can easily stash valuables out of sight, or simply squeeze in a few more items when the trunk is full. Explore Family-Oriented SUVs at Lafontaine Chevrolet Buick GMC of St. Clair Are you ready to find a used SUV that will deliver the features your family needs at a price that fits your budget? You can find these used SUVs and others at our dealership! We offer the iconic Suburban, a timeless family SUV packed with features that parents appreciate, such as Teen Driver and rear-seat entertainment. Consider the Yukon, as well as the extended Yukon XL, which are ideal for families with growing children. We also have the Enclave for those who need seating for seven and appreciate Buick's sophisticated touches; its in-floor storage and Smart Slide seats allow it to fit more than you'd believe, and its built-in Alexa is ready for busy days. Any member of our team will be able to help you find the right ride for your family. They'll simply ask a few questions about your priorities and guide you toward the ideal model. Four Affordable New Trucks to Improve Your Life on the Road

It's no secret that truck prices have been going up in recent years, but we're happy to let you know that there are still tons of affordable truck options available here at your local GMC and Chevy dealer. Even better, these more budget-friendly models are not the stripped-down work trucks of years past. Chevy and GMC have pulled out all the stops for the 2026 model year, and even their entry-level trucks now sport comfortable interiors, advanced tech features, and, of course, powerful engines that deliver the performance you require. #1 - 2026 Chevy Colorado LT ($39,300) The midsize Chevy Colorado is the perfect entry point for anyone searching for an affordable new truck for sale. This pickup has come a long way since it was first introduced back in 2004, and now offers features and capabilities that rival full-size trucks from a few decades ago. With a standard Crew Cab and a best-in-class 7,700 lbs of towing capacity, the 2026 Colorado is ready to improve just about every aspect of your life on the road. Chevy has even given the Colorado the same standard engine as the full-size Silverado 1500—the 2.7L TurboMax—ensuring that you have plenty of power on tap wherever you go. For 2026, the base trim of the Colorado is the fleet-oriented WT, but the highest value option is easily the LT trim. Priced just above the WT, the LT gives you a stylish and feature-forward truck. Unlike the base trim's black plastic details, the LT has color-matched bumpers, mirrors, and door handles, along with 17-inch alloy wheels for some sharp street presence. An EZ-Lift and Lower tailgate is another helpful upgrade that adds a small spring to the tailgate, making it easier to open and close. Inside the Colorado LT, you'll be impressed by the standard 11-inch fully digital instrument cluster and matching 11.3-inch center touchscreen. These large displays make it easy to see important information at a glance while you're driving. Plus, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, so connecting your phone for calls, music, navigation, and more is a breeze. Aside from the tech, the LT upgrades you to a standard eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support, making it easy to get comfortable on the road. This truck may be affordable, but it has everything you could want. #2 - 2026 GMC Canyon Elevation ($38,900) The GMC Canyon is known as the more upscale twin of the Chevy Colorado, sharing the same basic platform and many of the same features and capabilities. However, despite sharing the same underpinnings, it brings a more sophisticated and adventurous air to the midsize truck segment, even in its base Elevation trim. Unlike the Colorado, the Canyon doesn't have a work-oriented trim, so the Elevation is both the most affordable version and extremely well-equipped. Perhaps most surprisingly, it actually costs slightly less than the Colorado LT, making it an amazing deal for anyone searching for an affordable new truck. From its powertrain to its towing capacity, the Canyon is effectively identical to the Colorado. However, GMC's model makes some radical departures when it comes to styling and off-road capability. The Canyon adopts a more imposing front end, with a larger grille and stacked lighting to announce its presence. It also leans into its rugged persona, with the Elevation sporting a two-inch factory lift, wider fender flares, and larger 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Those features make the Canyon Elevation ready to head straight from our showroom floor to a backcountry trail. #3 - 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT ($47,900) While midsize trucks are more affordable, many of our customers are looking for the unmatched power and capability of a full-size pickup like the Chevy Silverado 1500. Like the Colorado, the 2026 Silverado 1500 trim lineup starts with the WT trim, but if you aren't looking for a bare-bones work truck, we'd advise jumping up to the LT trim to enjoy some remarkable standard features without massively increasing the price. Even better, the Silverado 1500 LT isn't that much more expensive than the Colorado LT, making it an extremely attractive option for anyone searching for an affordable truck. Unlike the midsize models, the Silverado 1500 LT offers multiple configurations and powertrains to choose from. The Crew Cab Short Box configuration is by far the most popular, but if you need more cargo space, you can opt for a Crew Cab Standard Bed, which gives you another foot of bed length. If you want that extra bed space in a smaller overall footprint, then the Double Cab Standard Bed is the configuration for you, combining the 6.6-foot bed with a slightly smaller cab. This model comes standard with the same 2.7L TurboMax engine as the Colorado and Canyon, giving you 310 hp. However, you can also opt for a 5.3L V8 with 355 hp or a 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel. The Duramax is the most capable engine in the Silverado 1500 lineup, giving you an incredible 495 lb-ft of torque and a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 lbs. It is also remarkably efficient, making it the ideal choice if you want to tow heavy trailers long distances without having to stop constantly to refuel. The reason to choose the Silverado 1500 LT over the lower trims is its wealth of features. It is the first trim to come with the upgraded interior, which includes a massive 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment center. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Google built-in, make accessing all of your favorite apps simple. You also get your choice of either a front bench seat to accommodate a total of six passengers or front bucket seats. A 10-way power driver seat is standard, as are heated front seats, making the Silverado 1500 LT an incredibly comfortable place to be. #4 - 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation ($50,500) The final model we suggest is the Sierra 1500 Elevation, which comes in at just over the $50k mark. As with the Canyon, this truck takes the same basic formula as its Chevy twin but goes in its own unique direction, providing a more upscale vibe. Unlike the Canyon Elevation, the Sierra 1500 Elevation doesn't lean into off-road adventures, instead offering more of a sport truck appeal. With body color bumpers, gloss black 20-inch wheels, and a blacked-out grille instead of the bright chrome normally associated with GMC trucks, this trim stands out on the streets with a clean, modern appearance. When shopping for a 2026 Sierra 1500 Elevation, you will enjoy all the configurations and engine options available for the Silverado 1500 LT. This lets you easily tailor the truck to meet your personal needs. The base features include everything you could need in your truck, including the large digital displays that make accessing vehicle information, apps, and navigation simple. With a heated steering wheel and heated, power-adjustable front seats, you will be perfectly comfortable even in the most affordable version of this trim. However, if you have a bit more to spend, you can upgrade to a rich leather interior and enjoy features like a power sunroof and wireless charging, adding a bit more of that GMC premium experience to your truck.

A Slate of Driver Assistance Features Thanks to the many safety features in this model, you'll feel confident whether you're stuck in traffic on the highway or navigating the downtown streets of Detroit. Even if you only get the standard features, your days around Washington Township will already be much safer. The standard features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. That means that your vehicle can take over braking for you if you fail to stop in time to avoid a collision with another vehicle or a person on foot. It also has a standard side bicyclist alert to notify you if a cyclist is approaching on your side. You never know when a pedestrian might step into the street, whether you're in the city or the suburbs, but you'll be more prepared when they do, with these great features. As for times you're on the Van Dyke Freeway after a long day, you'll get help staying in your lane, thanks to standard lane keep assist with lane departure warning. It alerts you when you're drifting and provides gentle steering inputs to keep you centered. A following distance indicator will also let you know when you're getting too close to the vehicle in front of you, and a forward collision alert will alert you to potential front-facing crashes. When it's time to park, rear park assist alerts you to nearby objects behind your vehicle. Lastly, a rear vision camera can show you what's behind your Equinox when you're in reverse. These are just the standard features, but there are even more advanced driver assistance features available. We'd love to show you these in person! Streamline Your Days With Google Built-In Do you have a big to-do list to get to? It can be hard to stay on top of tasks when you're always on the road. Luckily, the 2026 Equinox has the availability of Google Built-In, which means you can have popular Google products like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play integrated into your infotainment system. Imagine all the ways having Google Assistant in your vehicle could streamline your days around Washington Township. Did you need to set a reminder to pay a bill when you get home? Google Assistant can do that for you. Do you want to check the weather for this weekend? It can do that, too. Would you like to activate your home's thermostat before you arrive? If it's a smart device, Google Assistant can help. When you're in the car a lot, you probably also need podcasts and audiobooks to keep you company. Google Play is a part of this ensemble, allowing you to stream your favorite audio media on the go. You can have your preferred podcasts and playlists ready to go! Do you need to look up directions to a client's house or check for a coffee shop near your destination? Google Maps is great for that. Plus, it's all voice-activated, so you don't need to take your hands off the wheel to use it. If you clock a lot of time behind the wheel, you don't have to feel helpless when you remember something you need to do or when you need information and can't grab your phone. Having Google's products in your vehicle can be like having a personal assistant. A Convenient Console and Hidden Storage When you're a commuter, your vehicle almost becomes your second home—and just like in your real home, you need a place for your stuff. That's why the center console is such a great perk of the 2026 Equinox. This flexible console has a place for your beverages, so those caffeinated drinks that get you through the day are never far away. It also has a slot for electronics and room for other items like tissues and sunglasses. Plus, it provides a comfy place to put your elbows. If you commute into Detroit and are concerned about leaving valuables exposed, you'll appreciate the hidden under-floor storage. This is a concealed compartment in the trunk where you can stash your belongings, away from prying eyes. Comfort Features for an Improved Ride If you have to be in the car a lot, you may as well get comfortable—and in the 2026 Equinox, that's easy to do. It has available ventilated front seats to cool you down on hot summer days. Meanwhile, the heated steering wheel can keep your hands comfortable on those brutally cold winter days. An available eight-way power driver's seat allows you to find the ideal position for long drives. Standard active noise cancellation blocks out unwanted noises from traffic and the road, so you can transform the inside of your Equinox into a space of serenity after a long day. The Equinox's All-Electric Sibling We saved the best thing for last: the Equinox EV. That's right—you don't need to worry about gas costs if you don't want to. The Equinox's all-electric sibling lets you plug into a charging unit and leave the fuel pumps in the past. Washington Township has seen an emergence of public charging stations, so you'll never be far from a charge when you need it. Of course, you can also install an at-home charger for convenience. Owning an EV can help you save money long after the day you buy, thanks to a fuel-free lifestyle and less maintenance. 10 Unique Features That Elevate the Hummer EV

The average vehicle might have two or three features that set it apart from the competition, but the GMC Hummer EV is no average vehicle. Originally designed as a civilian version of the US military's M998 Humvee, the Hummer has long been a bit of a maverick. This SUV's military-grade design allows it to perform some off-road feats that few models can match, but the Hummer has also evolved over the years by steadily integrating the latest and greatest in automotive tech. The most recent and notable advancement would be the Hummer's all-electric powertrain, which allows it to deliver about 315 miles of range while still pumping out the kind of power that it has long been known for. Those seeking a GMC Hummer EV for sale have two intriguing options to choose from: a pickup truck and a more agile SUV. Both are remarkable examples of modern engineering, and both include more than a few unique features that deserve a much closer look. We've managed to narrow down the list to ten standout features, though there are plenty more surprises in store when you visit LaFontaine Chevrolet Buick GMC of St. Clair. Let's review some highlights and see how the Hummer EV is upping the bar in terms of cutting-edge design. Extract Mode When your off-road mission goes off the rails and you need a quick extraction, the Hummer EV is here to help. While many of today's trucks and SUVs feature custom drive modes, the Hummer EV goes above and beyond with a few unique features that the competition sorely lacks. The first is Extract Mode, which can come in clutch when it's time to free the Hummer from a sticky situation. By raising the vehicle's ride height by as much as six inches using the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension system, Extract Mode allows the EV to easily clear rocks, logs, mud, and other common off-road obstacles. Available whenever the Hummer is traveling at 12 mph or slower, this feature can also come in handy when cresting a particularly sharp peak, improving the Hummer's breakover angle to prevent it from bottoming out. Extract Mode presents a practical use for the Air Ride system, but it's just one of the drive modes that makes the Hummer such an off-road all-star. 4-Wheel Steer & CrabWalk No one knows how to deal with the unique demands of the outdoor world quite as well as Mother Nature herself. The humble crab has developed a unique gait that allows it to skitter over loose surfaces, and the Hummer EV has clearly taken inspiration from the crustacean with its CrabWalk Mode. When traveling at low speeds, CrabWalk Mode gives the Hummer EV's front and rear wheels the ability to turn in the same direction. This feature is sure to prove useful when trying to avoid an immovable off-road obstruction, allowing the Hummer to drastically improve its maneuverability by traveling diagonally. The same technology that powers the Hummer EV's CrabWalk feature also paves the way for another novel feature that GMC has dubbed 4-Wheel Steer. This feature sees the front and rear wheels turn in opposite directions to minimize the full-size model's turning radius, but it can also allow all four wheels to provide improved stability at higher speeds. UltraVision GMC had a clear vision when designing the Hummer EV: leverage the latest technology to provide a comfortable, luxurious on-road experience while also prioritizing off-road performance. The Hummer EV's UltraVision goes a long way toward accomplishing the second goal, bestowing it with a complex array of up to 18 cameras that grant drivers the ability to keep tabs on their surroundings at all times. Offered as part of the Hummer EV's Extreme Off-Road Package, the UltraVision camera includes two self-washing underbody cameras that can be used to monitor tire placement and wheelspin in real time. While it's no substitute for a dedicated spotter in more extreme scenarios, the UltraVision camera ups the convenience factor while instilling owners with a little more confidence every time they hit the trail. The system can also prove useful in on-road environs, allowing drivers to slip into even the tightest parking spot with ease. Infinity Roof The ability to enjoy a long day of off-roading while experiencing that wind-in-your-hair feeling has long been one of this enthusiast hobby's most coveted treats, and the Hummer EV doesn't disappoint with a patented Infinity Roof. Want to enjoy a little sunshine or improve visibility? Simply remove the EV's four Sky Panels, and you'll be able to get your daily dose of Vitamin D. The Sky Panels are light and can be easily removed by one person, which dramatically ups the Hummer EV's appeal for those who tend to ride solo. The panels can be configured in whatever way you see fit (two on, two off, three on, one off, etc.) and are easy to store in the Hummer EV's generous frunk. An integrated I-bar helps to provide a little structure, but it can also be removed if you're in the mood for a wholly open-air experience. Off-Road App There's no such thing as too much data when you're putting a Hummer EV through its off-road paces. This model's Off-Road app gives drivers all the information they need to make good choices out on the trail, delivering pertinent details like pitch and roll angles, steering angle, g-forces, motor torque output, current elevation, and suspension stats right on the infotainment display or digital gauge cluster. The system also scratches that itch for continual improvement by automatically recording your highest values in each category, which should make for some good post-ride fodder when you're competing for bragging rights. With enough experience, drivers will learn how to spot a tricky situation before it rises to the level of an off-road emergency, but the Off-Road app helps to flatten the learning curve and make venturing off the road less traveled a little less intimidating for those who are new to the world of recovery straps and winches. Watts to Freedom The Hummer EV's all-electric powertrains are a paragon of efficiency, but they also open the door to some unique feats of strength. EVs have become known for their launch control system, which provides a temporary power boost that'll have you firmly planted in the back of your seat; the Hummer EV is no exception, with its Watts to Freedom mode enabling this beastly vehicle to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in as little as 3.5 seconds. In addition to upping the output, Watts to Freedom also activates the Hummer EV's cooling system and uses the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension to lower the ride height in the name of aerodynamics. GMC clearly had a little fun when designing the feature, which also includes a custom audio cue and haptic feedback in the driver's seat. That said, Watts to Freedom is not intended to be used when you're running late on your daily commute; the automaker recommends reserving the feature for closed courses, as the pure speed that it offers can land you in some hot water when traversing public roads. An Unreal Infotainment Display It's not this display's size that makes it worthy of a mention (though it's certainly a selling point at 13.4 inches); rather, it's the software that powers it. GMC tapped the video game wizards at Epic Games to outfit the Hummer EV's infotainment display with its Unreal Engine software. Responsible for powering some of today's hottest titles (like Fortnite and Gears of War), the Unreal Engine allows this infotainment display to deliver crisp graphics and even a few cinematic moments. When you go to adjust the Hummer EV's drive modes, you'll be greeted with a high-resolution cutscene that helps to gamify the daily driving experience. Sure, the display also includes all the media and connectivity features drivers have come to expect from a modern vehicle, but it's these unusual little touches that really help to broaden the Hummer EV's appeal. Extreme Off-Road Package The Hummer EV is already geared toward off-road success, but if you really want to level up your game, the Extreme Off-Road Package is a must-have. This package adds a full suite of advanced off-road tech and heavy-duty components, including 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch mud-terrain tires, a front electronic-locking differential that improves traction in even the slipperiest scenarios, and a wealth of protective elements that'll keep your Hummer EV looking its best no matter how gnarly the road might get. Five skid plates shield vital underbody components from damage, while rock sliders with built-in steps protect the sides of the vehicle and improve access to the cabin. Recovery hooks will come in the clutch when you start to get a little bogged down, and this package also includes the innovative UltraVision underbody cameras. Power Station The Hummer EV isn't just one of the industry's most enticing off-road models; it can also double as a fully functional generator. Its electric motors and battery packs provide endless hours of driving enjoyment, but they'll also come in handy in the case of an unexpected power outage, camping trip, or when you just need to give a member of your off-roading troop a little extra juice mid-ride. The Power Station is a bidirectional charger that can pump out power by converting the battery pack's DC energy back into AC. Whether you're braving an outage caused by a winter storm or just trying to help out a passing stranger, the Power Station drastically ups the Hummer EV's utility. This feature does require drivers to invest in a little extra equipment, but it's well worth the price if you want to keep the power flowing when you need it most. And All the Rest While they don't rise to the level of some of the more practical features like CrabWalk, the Infinity Roof, Watts to Freedom, or the Off-Road app, GMC has graced the Hummer EV with a few fun easter eggs that help to make it one of the quirkiest models on the market. From smartphones and laptops to today's EVs, charging-related anxiety is one of the downsides of our modern world, but you'll always know when the Hummer EV is plugged in thanks to battery status bars built right into the headlights. When parked and connected to a power source, the headlights give a clear indication of the battery level with flashing bars that indicate the current status. The headlights and taillights are also built with an interesting "H" design that reflects the Hummer's historically important name. Meanwhile, the door-mounted speakers are designed with an interesting lunar motif inspired by the Sea of Tranquility; this might seem a bit random, but rumor has it that it's supposed to be an allusion to GMC's own "moon shot" that saw the Hummer EV move from concept to full production model in an accelerated two-year development cycle. Discover Even More With Us While we've focused on some of the Hummer EV's standout features, there's a whole lot more to discover when you stop by LaFontaine Chevrolet Buick GMC of St. Clair. This beast's performance is an obvious highlight, producing up to 1,000 hp and 12,000 lbs of towing capacity when choosing the pickup's triple-motor 3X trim. That type of power can be tough on a battery, but GMC has outfitted the Hummer with massive packs that are some of the largest on today's market. These batteries are also equipped with a DC Fast Charging capability that sees the Hummer EV add up to 100 miles of range in under 15 minutes. The Hummer EV's powertrains are just part of its tech-forward packaging, which also includes GM's coveted Super Cruise hands-free driving tool. This allows drivers to enjoy hands-free driving on over 750,000 miles of roads across the US and Canada, and it can even be used to perform more complex functions like automatic lane changes. If you want to experience Super Cruise for yourself, learn how easy it is to remove the Infinity Roof, or see how useful CrabWalk and 4-Wheel Steer are, come by LaFontaine Chevrolet Buick GMC of St. Clair today!

Comparing the Standard Features of the 2025 Terrain and Nissan Rogue

If you're on the hunt for a sleek and capable compact SUV that gets excellent fuel efficiency and easy driving through narrow, busy city streets, you've got to check out the GMC Terrain for sale. In this breakdown, we're going to compare it to a popular rival model, the 2025 Nissan Rogue, and show you why the 2025 GMC Terrain is the better choice. An ever-growing class of vehicles, compact SUVs are often frontrunners for drivers seeking comfortable commuter models with a range of amenities and features as well as the versatility for weekend warriors to get out of the city to biking paths, hiking trails, or kayaking on a nearby lake. With both the Terrain and the Rogue offering these abilities, we think that GMC's model not only does it all better but also offers more bang for your buck. Looking sharp, having higher ground clearance, providing plenty of cargo space while seating five adults comfortably, and keeping the cabin's occupants entertained with top-of-the-line connectivity tech, GMC indulges its drivers for miles and miles. Holding its value well, the 2025 Terrain is a great choice for your next SUV whether you're a young professional, have a growing family, or are an empty nester looking for a comfortable ride that is easier on the knees to get in and out of. Let's take a deeper look into what makes the 2025 Terrain so great... The Hot Trend of a Boxy Style Aesthetic design is certainly subjective, but sometimes form really adds to function and isn't just for looks. Not only is the Terrain trendy with its boxy design, but the squared-off liftgate maximizes cargo space in the rear in addition to expanding the overall legroom throughout. With comparable base prices between the two models, you get more roominess in your vehicle by choosing the GMC. The Terrain's outward appearance is more commanding and confident in its stance and nods to the off-road capabilities GMC provides over the Rogue. Taking a page from its lineup of capable and award-winning pickups, GMC has given the Terrain a rugged appearance that is growing in popularity right now. The Nissan Rogue keeps it classy in its compact SUV body, but the drawback of sticking to classic lines is that it can lead to boredom. The Rogue isn't much of a head turner in any trim, not when compared to the Black Edition of the Terrain, which adds mystique and luxury. The Rogue offers five trim levels that can be a lot to sort through to be sure you're choosing one that best catches your eye. GMC makes it easy to decide by offering one Terrain trim that brings ruggedness and luxury, and your customization of it is through adding exciting packages to meet your driving needs. In a modern world with overwhelming choices, GMC keeps it simple! Elevated Features in the Terrain While the 2025 Nissan Rogue has better fuel efficiency and horsepower, the 2025 GMC Terrain offers stark advantages in transmission choice, advanced safety features, infotainment technology, front legroom, and off-road capability. These aspects make the Terrain a compelling choice for buyers prioritizing these features in their compact SUV selection. Interior comfort is most important when you spend hours commuting every week or love to spend your weekends road-tripping to exciting new places. While both of these models offer the features drivers want most from a new vehicle today, we find the interior design of the Terrain to be a notch above the Rogue. Both models provide a digital information cluster behind the steering wheel and an infotainment center touchscreen on the dash, but visibility and usability score far more points in the Terrain than the Rogue. GMC has installed a beautiful screen within the dash that is easy to reach from leaning on an elbow on the padded armrest lid of the center console. The Terrain's screen is much larger than the one Nissan installed in the Rogue, at 15 inches versus 8 inches. This makes seeing nav directions, choosing your next song, and using the message center integrated with your smartphone so much easier on the go. Plush seating fabrics, a heated steering wheel, heated seats, and lumbar support are offered in both models, but only one has ventilated front seats available. You guessed it: GMC knows driver comfort! Outperforming the Competition When it comes to performance, you're going to experience great fuel efficiency and smooth driving from both of these compact SUVs. But under the hood, some differences will stand out in certain conditions. The Rogue has a 1.5L three-cylinder engine. The Terrain has the same displacement for its engine but with an added cylinder. Four-cylinder engines provide a more powerful performance and refined driving at all speeds. When considering an all-wheel drive model, the 2025 Rogue has only the same CVT; meanwhile, the 2025 Terrain has an 8-speed automatic option on top of the CVT that front-wheel-drive models come with. For longevity and more rugged and durable performance, the 8-speed automatic transmission can handle long travels better than a CVT. Their overall handling, responsiveness, and efficiency are similar, but, again, the Terrain pulls ahead with its Hill Descent Control feature for moderated driving on steep hills without having to stand on the brake pedal. Advanced Driver Assistance Features Today's drivers love the advanced connectivity tech that modern cars have—and between the Terrain and the Rogue, these features are pretty even. Both can make seamless connections to your smartphone, provide convenient charging solutions, and have immersive audio systems. For voice assistance, the Terrain and the Rogue have Google Built-In, which will pull up navigation, direct you to the nearest gas station, select your favorite playlist, and even handle calls and text messaging hands-free. What pulls the Terrain ahead in this category, though, is the eight camera view angles available in the Surround Vision tool, including a 360-degree view that is a real boon with the 15-inch infotainment screen. Lastly, no one wants to drive without the best possible safety tech. GMC's driver assistance suite packs in a forward collision alert with automatic braking, a lane departure alert, a lane-keeping assistant with corrective steering, automatic high beams, and rain-sensing wipers, among others. An extra Terrain perk that city drivers will appreciate (and that the Rogue doesn't offer) is Side Bicyclist Alert for parking on congested streets and avoiding a day-wrecker of an accident for both you and any number of cyclists in the bike lanes between you and traffic. New for 2025, the Terrain has a digital rearview mirror that projects the view of a rear-facing camera into your rearview mirror for a wider angle of behind you. Find the 2025 GMC Terrain of Your Dreams Between the GMC Terrain and the Nissan Rogue, the 2025 Terrain is the better investment for your money. Being a legacy automaker with best-in-class ratings for design, quality, and craftsmanship, you can't go wrong with this capable and versatile compact SUV to meet all your driving needs. We can't wait to help you choose the right trim for you and your family. Stop in and get behind the wheel of a 2025 GMC Terrain today!

Regarding the 2025 Terrain, you will find what you're looking for up front and center with the standard Premium GMC Infotainment System and its 15-inch touchscreen interface. This display provides you with easy access to everything you might need during the drive, thanks to the system's ability to connect seamlessly to your phone via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, you will find that this system is easy to customize, putting the things you use most right at your fingertips. Of course, it also helps that the SUV is equipped with Google Built-In, making it even easier to remain connected to the people and things that matter most. You and your passenger can also enjoy available wireless charging capabilities, while passengers in the second row are able to keep their devices charged thanks to thoughtfully placed USB ports. Last but not least, the Terrain is Wi-Fi hotspot ready; all you need to do is choose which subscription package is best for your needs. Safety The 2025 Terrain also has an abundance of great safety technology. Some of its standard driver assistance features include Blind Zone Steering Assist, which visually alerts you to vehicles in your blind spots, as well as providing a gentle nudge to the steering wheel if it detects a vehicle in the lane you're attempting to transition to. The SUV is also equipped with Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, which helps you avoid a collision or reduce the severity of one using radar and camera technology to scan for changes in traffic. It works at 2mph and above, delivering emergency braking to support your own braking efforts. At the same time, you will receive alerts thanks to the Forward Collision Alert tool ahead of the automated braking occurring to give you a chance to respond accordingly. The Terrain also provides you with enhanced sight when in reverse, thanks to the HD Rear Vision Camera. Taking things a step further, you can opt for HD Surround Vision, which gives you a 360-degree view of the area around your vehicle to assist you with navigating in tight situations, such as trying to move into or out of a tricky parking spot. Additional standard safety features include Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Reverse Automatic Braking, and the Teen Driver tool. It's also worth noting that the Terrain offers an available Rear Mirror Camera; when activated, your rearview mirror projects a rearward camera view, providing you with a wider vantage of the area behind your vehicle to help you avoid obstacles in reverse. You can quickly toggle between the traditional rearview mirror and the digital projection with a simple push of a button. Off-Roading As mentioned, the 2025 GMC Terrain offers a smooth ride, but you might wonder how it handles the road less traveled. The good news is that this SUV offers an available all-wheel drivetrain with Hill Descent Control that gives you the confidence you need to tackle more challenging roads or take steep grades with ease. The 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine also provides you with the ability to tow up to 1,500 lbs, which is enough for a small camper or fishing boat. While it might not be ready to tackle aggressive trails, its 8.1 inches of ground clearance can still get you where you need to go when looking for the perfect camping spot, especially when equipped with all-wheel drive. Comfort The GMC Terrain's interior has been redesigned for the 2025 model year. Part of that redesign includes available features such as an eight-way power driver's seat with memory settings, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, and premium seating materials. The front bucket seats offer plenty of cushioning and stability, whether you're headed a few blocks down the road or further. There is also an optional dual-zone automatic climate control system that automatically maintains your preferred temperature thanks to sensors that are strategically placed throughout the interior. Appearance Like the interior of the 2025 GMC Terrain, the exterior has also received a makeover. Updates include a unique upright grille, 17-inch Grazen Metallic machined aluminum wheels, and LED headlamps and taillamps, along with available features like a two-toned roof, an AutoSense power liftgate, and a panoramic sunroof. You can also opt for the Black Edition if you'd like to guarantee that your Terrain truly stands out in a crowd. Your Guide to the Trim Levels of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500

If you're searching for a powerful and refined full-size truck, one of the most exciting options on the market is the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 for sale. Known for its strength, capability, and high-quality features, the Sierra 1500 continues to set the bar for what a modern pickup can be. Given the diverse lineup of trim levels, there's a Sierra 1500 built to match every driver's needs, whether you're needed on a job site, are towing your boat to the lake, or are simply enjoying a luxurious daily drive. This guide will walk you through each of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500's eight trim levels, from the rugged Pro to the extravagant Denali Ultimate. As you will soon find out, every 2025 Sierra 1500 offers a unique mixture of performance, design, and tech. Understanding what each trim brings to the table will help you make the right decision when it is time to find the pickup truck of your dreams. The Sierra 1500 Pro: Built for the Essentials The 2025 Sierra 1500 Pro is the entry-level trim, but don't let that label fool you since it still packs a serious punch. Designed for those who need a no-nonsense workhorse, the Pro trim is all about practicality. Power-wise, you will find the standard 2.7L TurboMax engine that pumps out robust torque and an efficient performance. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive (RWD), with four-wheel drive (4WD) available should you need more traction for getting around. From the outside, the Pro keeps things simple with durable black bumpers, 17-inch steel wheels, and a sturdy front grille. It's a solid foundation if you want to build a custom work truck or prefer something a bit more understated than the higher trims. Inside, you get durable vinyl seating surfaces and easy-to-clean rubberized floors—ideal for job sites or muddy boots. The 7-inch infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Bluetooth audio streaming, keeping you connected no matter where the road takes you. Safety features are remarkably generous on the Pro trim. GMC's standard suite of driver assistance tech includes Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. No matter if you're using your Sierra 1500 as a personal truck or a fleet vehicle, you can appreciate the peace of mind these systems offer. And with a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,400 lbs when properly equipped, the Pro trim proves that entry-level doesn't mean underpowered. The Sierra 1500 SLE and Elevation: Stepping Up The SLE and Elevation trims offer a noticeable step up from the Pro in terms of style and features. The SLE introduces a more polished design and upgraded tech. One of the standout additions is the 13.4-inch GMC Premium Infotainment System, which dominates the center console and adds a more upscale, user-friendly experience. It is paired with a 12.3-inch digital driver information center that brings a high-tech feel to the cockpit. Power-wise, the SLE continues with the 2.7L TurboMax engine as standard but allows you to upgrade to a 5.3L V8. The SLE also adds features like keyless open and start, LED lighting, and body-colored bumpers. You can also opt for the bolt-on Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System, which comes with an upgraded sound and appearance. You can sport things up a bit if you'd like, with front 6-piston Brembo brakes and front and rear red calipers featuring the GMC logo. The Elevation trim takes the SLE foundation and adds bolder, more athletic styling. It includes exclusive 20-inch black wheels, monochromatic exterior details, and available black recovery hooks. Inside, the Elevation shares the same tech-forward cabin as the SLE but adds premium cloth or available leather upholstery, along with a few different available packages, including the Elevation Black Package. Both the SLE and Elevation trims are ideal for drivers who want a balanced combination of comfort, capability, and visual appeal. Whether you're commuting or weekend-adventuring, these trims bring a level of versatility that's hard to beat. You'll also find more available options for upgrading your Sierra 1500, such as sunroofs, upgraded sound systems, and advanced trailering technology. The Sierra 1500 SLT: Where Comfort Meets Capability The 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT is where premium features start to take center stage. This trim presents a dramatic leap in comfort, convenience, and customization options. The SLT comes standard with the 5.3L V8 engine, creating powerful acceleration and confident towing capabilities. You can also opt for the 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine if fuel efficiency and torque are top priorities or the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 for even more power. The SLT's exterior boasts chrome accents, LED headlights, and power-folding mirrors. You'll also get 18-inch polished aluminum wheels with all-season tires and remote start as standard. Inside, the truck transforms into a refined, tech-savvy command center. Heated and ventilated front seats are available, and dual-zone climate control is standard. Also, optional leather-appointed seating brings a touch of luxury to your commute. This trim level includes the GMC Premium Infotainment System with Google Built-In, voice-activated controls, and a Wi-Fi hotspot, keeping you connected and entertained. There is also a wealth of available packages, such as the SLT Premium Plus Package, which adds advanced trailering tech, a premium sound system, and a power sunroof. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the SLT is its balance. It delivers everything most truck buyers want: a high-end cabin, robust performance, and the flexibility to handle work or play with ease. The SLT exemplifies what the Sierra 1500 does best: combining rugged utility with modern luxury in a way few other trucks can match. The Sierra 1500 AT4 and AT4X: Adventure-Ready If you need a vehicle to accompany you on your adventures in the wild blue yonder, the AT4 and AT4X trims are ideal. These outfits are engineered with serious off-road chops and aggressive styling, delivering everything you need to leave the pavement behind. The AT4 trim builds on the SLT's features but swaps in off-road hardware and a more athletic aesthetic. It comes standard with a 3.0L Duramax diesel engine or the available 6.2L V8. Key off-road enhancements include a 2-inch factory lift, Rancho monotube shocks, skid plates, and a two-speed AutoTrac transfer case. You'll also get all-terrain tires wrapped around 18-inch machined aluminum wheels. Inside the AT4, the focus on premium functionality continues. Available Jet Black and Kalahari interior accents give the cabin a bold look, while leather-appointed seating and heated front and rear seats keep you comfortable no matter the terrain. The AT4 also includes Hill Descent Control, GMC's MultiPro tailgate, and advanced trailering features. If you want to take it up a notch, the AT4X is the ultimate off-road luxury truck. This trim adds Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear electronic locking differentials, and rock sliders for maximum trail capability. It's powered by the 6.2L V8 and includes nearly every premium feature GMC has to offer, from a 12-speaker Bose sound system to a full-grain leather interior with massaging front seats. Both the AT4 and AT4X trims are ideal for drivers who love to explore and demand top-tier performance in the process. Whether you're navigating a rocky trail or just tackling snowy Michigan winters, these trucks are built to handle the challenge while keeping you wrapped in comfort. The Sierra 1500 Denali Duo: The Pinnacle of Luxury At the top of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup are the Denali and Denali Ultimate. These trims represent the very best in full-size truck luxury. They combine premium materials, cutting-edge tech, and powerful engines for an experience that's as elegant as it is capable. The Denali comes standard with the 5.3L V8, with optional upgrades to the 6.2L V8 or the 3.0L Duramax diesel. It's fitted with Adaptive Ride Control for a smoother drive and includes distinctive Denali styling like a signature chrome grille, 20-inch wheels, and special Denali badging. The cabin is finished with open-pore wood, real aluminum trimming, and heated and ventilated front seats. Technology in the Denali is front and center, with a 13.4-inch infotainment display, 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and available 15-inch multi-color head-up display. You'll also get a premium 7-speaker Bose sound system with a Richbass woofer and wireless phone charging. The optional Denali Reserve Package takes all of this and turns the dial up even further. It tacks on a sunroof, wheel locks, 22-inch multi-dimensional polished aluminum wheels, and GMC MultiPro Power Steps. It also includes all the contents of the Technology Package, thus giving you the head-up display and rear camera mirror. Find Your New GMC Sierra 1500 Today! How the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation Elevates the Game

When you're shopping for a full-size pickup, it can be easy to feel caught between extremes. Some trims lean hard into luxury, piling on the extras and the price tag. Others go bare-bones, leaving you wanting more than just utility. But if you're looking for that sweet spot—the trim that nails power, presence, and practicality—you'll want to take a closer look at a GMC Sierra 1500 for sale, especially the 2025 Elevation trim. The Elevation hits that "just right" zone with ease. It's bold without being over-the-top, stylish without being delicate, and capable without demanding a commercial license. Whether you're hauling gear, commuting to work, or showing up to a weekend barbecue, the Sierra 1500 Elevation carries itself with a confidence that fits every setting. It's the kind of truck that works just as well as a daily driver as it does a weekend warrior. You also won't feel like you're compromising on features. The 2025 Sierra 1500 Elevation comes equipped with the kind of tech and comfort you actually use, minus the frills you don't need. Intuitive connectivity, smart storage solutions, and strong performance are all attributes that make a drive more enjoyable without tipping into luxury-truck territory. It's that rare balance that keeps both your budget and your expectations in check. If you've ever wished for a truck that threads the needle between rugged and refined, the Elevation trim answers that call. It's a reminder that you don't have to go all-in on luxury or strip things down to get what you want. Sometimes, the best choice is the one that's perfectly in the middle—built to perform, built to last, and built for you. Capability Above the Rest When you step up to the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation, you're not just getting a style boost; you are unlocking a serious upgrade in capability. While the lower trims do a fine job handling everyday duties, the Elevation is where the Sierra 1500 starts to show its true grit. Built to do more than just look good in a parking lot, it's engineered to handle heavy lifting, rough roads, and long hauls without breaking a sweat. One of the biggest advantages of the Elevation trim is the standard High-Capacity Suspension Package, which gives this truck an edge when it comes to handling heavier loads and maintaining control under pressure. Whether you're towing a trailer or hauling building materials, this suspension setup keeps things stable and composed. It's a step up from the base configuration and something you'll feel the moment that work gets serious. In short, it's built to handle the hustle. Speaking of hauling, the Elevation trim doesn't just look ready for the job—it's equipped for it. With the standard Trailering Package and key performance upgrades, this truck is built to pull more with confidence. A strengthened suspension, improved cooling, and a locking rear differential work together to handle heavy loads and tough terrain without breaking a sweat. Add in smart trailering tech like a trailer brake controller and hitch guidance, and backing up or heading out becomes a whole lot less stressful. It's a capability you can count on, whether you're towing for work or play. Under the hood, the Elevation comes standard with the capable and efficient TurboMax I-4 engine, delivering 310 hp and a stout 430 lb-ft of torque. That's plenty of muscle for towing, hauling, and confidently merging onto the highway—even with a full load in the bed. For drivers who want even more grit or long-range efficiency, available options include the 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel and the 5.3L EcoTec3 V8, each offering its own brand of heavy-duty performance. Whether you're after towing strength, diesel durability, or classic V8 power, the Elevation gives you the flexibility to choose. Pair any of these engines with available four-wheel drive, and you've got a truck that's ready for just about anything. What sets the Elevation apart is how seamlessly it blends these performance features into a truck that still feels comfortable and composed on the road. You don't have to choose between brawn and drivability because you get both. Whether you're towing a boat to the lake, tackling a job site, or just making a supply run, the 2025 Sierra 1500 Elevation shows up ready for the challenge. It's a capable workhorse wrapped in a sharp-looking, confidence-boosting package. Where Form Meets Function The 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation doesn't just perform better; it looks the part, too. Compared to the more utilitarian Pro and SLE trims, the Elevation takes on a bolder, more aggressive presence thanks to its monochromatic exterior styling and gloss-black accents. Standard 20-inch black aluminum wheels give it a commanding stance right out of the gate. Add LED lighting with signature C-shaped headlamps, and you've got a truck that turns heads without trying too hard. It's style with substance, built to stand out whether you're parked at the job site or your favorite local spot. Step inside the Elevation, and it becomes clear this isn't your average work truck. While the Pro focuses on the basics, the Elevation brings in premium touches like a standard 12.3-inch digital driver information center and a 13.4-inch infotainment screen that the SLE brought to the table. The layout is driver-focused, with easy-to-reach controls and available options like a heated steering wheel and dual-zone automatic climate control. Materials feel more refined, and the available Jet Black interior with cloth or upgraded synthetic leather upholstery gives it a modern, upscale vibe. It's a space that feels just as comfortable on a long commute as it does during a weekend project run. The Elevation doesn't skimp on the tech that makes everyday driving easier. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come built into that expansive 13.4-inch screen, giving you seamless access to music, navigation, and apps. Available Google Built-In takes it even further, offering voice controls, Google Maps, and more—without needing your phone plugged in. You can also equip the Elevation with an available Bose premium audio system for a richer sound experience, something not offered on the Pro or SLE trims. Add in USB ports and an available wireless charging pad, and you've got a cabin for life on the move. The Elevation's comfort options help it double as both a hardworking pickup and a daily driver. Available heated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and rear-seat HVAC vents elevate the cabin from purely functional to family-friendly. Crew Cab models offer generous rear-seat space, making it easy to bring passengers along without feeling cramped. You can also opt for features like the Universal Home Remote and a rear sliding window to add a touch of everyday convenience. It's the kind of comfort that makes even the busiest days feel a little easier. Even with its elevated looks, this trim stays true to the Sierra 1500's practical roots. The Elevation offers available features like the MultiPro tailgate and spray-on bedliner, both of which boost utility without sacrificing style. In the bed, you'll find handy tie-downs and LED lighting that make loading and unloading easier—day or night. Inside, smart storage options like under-seat compartments and a spacious center console keep your gear organized and out of the way. The Elevation isn't just about looking good; it's about making your day run smoother, from the driver's seat to the tailgate. The 2025 Sierra 1500 Elevation Hits the Sweet Spot The 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation isn't trying to be the flashiest or the most austere; it's designed to live in that perfect middle ground where capability, comfort, and bold design all meet. With key upgrades over the lower trims, including enhanced towing features, exclusive styling, and advanced tech, it delivers real value without pushing into premium pricing territory. Inside and out, it feels refined but not fussy, rugged but not overbuilt. It's a truck that fits into your life, whether you're on the clock or off the grid. If you're looking for a GMC Sierra 1500 for sale that's ready to work hard, look sharp, and still handle familial life without compromise, the Elevation trim is well worth a closer look. It brings just the right amount of everything: performance, style, tech, and practicality. You don't have to settle for basic, and you don't have to overspend for luxury. The Elevation is the just-right truck in a world of too much or not enough—and that's exactly what makes it stand out.

Five Reasons the Silverado 1500 Is the Perfect Truck

Whether you are looking for a simple work truck to help you get the job done each day, a monster that can dominate any trail, or a sophisticated pickup that you will enjoy driving for many years, the Chevy Silverado 1500 is the perfect choice. As a Chevy dealership, we love presenting the Chevy Silverado 1500 for sale, and it should come as no surprise that we think this is one of the best trucks on the road. This isn't just an empty opinion, however, because we can back it up with a variety of reasons that this is such an incredible truck—reasons that could make it the right pickup for you. Even compared to other impressive options out there, like the 2025 Ford F-150, the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 finds numerous ways to come out on top and deliver everything you are looking for in a truck. #1. Incredible Engines If you're interested in the Chevy Silverado 1500, then you're likely looking for a full-size truck with plenty of power to help you tackle everything you need to do. For something smaller, the Chevy Colorado is a great choice; the Silverado 1500 is all about big performance and getting a truck with plenty of muscle. To support this, Chevy gives you four different engines to choose from, which makes it easy to get the kind of power you need from your truck. The standard TurboMax engine is one of the best starting options in the industry, with 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. By comparison, the starting engine on the Ford F-150 only offers 400 lb-ft of torque, falling short of what the Silverado 1500 delivers. From there, you have a number of other engines available from Chevy, including the legendary 6.2L V8 that's been a favorite of a huge number of drivers for many years now. This beast delivers 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, ensuring you have all the muscle you need to tackle anything. Most importantly for some drivers, Chevy offers an available 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine that provides a massive 495 lb-ft of torque. Not only is this remarkably powerful, but it's one of the last diesel engines you can find on a light-duty truck; Ford no longer offers a diesel for the F-150. (Similarly, you won't find one on the 2025 Ram 1500.) So, if you want a diesel, then Chevy is the clear choice for you. #2. Serious Capabilities As vital as raw power from a great engine is, what's potentially more important is how well that power translates into getting work done. Chevy understands this better than most, which is why you can get such impressive towing and payload capabilities with the Silverado 1500. Looking at its standard engine, the TurboMax can handle 9,500 lbs of maximum towing and 2,260 lbs of payload. By comparison, the Ford F-150, with its starting engine, tops out at 8,400 lbs of towing and 1,785 lbs of payload. That's a significant difference, and it shows how well Chevy understands the needs of truck owners. What's more, the Silverado 1500 continues to deliver bold power and robust capabilities with every engine option, so no matter what you prefer from your truck, you're covered. The 6.2L V8 gas engine gives you 13,200 lbs of maximum towing, while the remarkable diesel engine goes up to 13,300 lbs of towing capacity. Although the F-150 can go beyond 13,000 lbs of towing with one of its engines, the lack of a diesel option is once again a problem; Ford's answer is a hybrid engine that provides impressive horsepower and torque but tops out at just 11,200 lbs of towing—far behind the Silverado 1500 and its diesel. #3. Excellent Trim Levels It would take us way too long to go over the details of every trim level for the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500, but we wanted to mention them still because they give you a fantastic range of options to choose from. You have nine different trim levels available, which can seem like a lot, but you can pretty easily group them into three sets of three, providing you with enough options to get precisely what you need. The WT, Custom, and LT give you three terrific options to start with, while the RST, LTZ, and High Country let you choose from high-end features and details to elevate your drive. If you want a truck for going off-road, then the two Trail Boss trims and the ZR2 give you three ways to find the perfect pickup with everything you want. Other brands like Ford offer a lot of trim levels, too, but we prefer how Chevy has them set up. #4. Awesome Interior Features In case nine different trim levels still seem like a lot, one of the best ways to appreciate how well they're set up for the Silverado 1500 is to look inside this truck. If you want a simple, straightforward interior, then the starting WT trim is perfect, especially for fleets and commercial use. The WT has vinyl seating, a 3.5-inch monochromatic Driver Information Center screen, and a 7-inch infotainment display. But even with this starting trim, you get Remote Keyless Entry and a six-speaker sound system to enhance your drive. On the other end of the trim lineup is the High Country, which has one of the most sophisticated and beautifully designed interiors you'll find. Perforated leather seating looks and feels amazing, with heated and ventilated front seats that are ten-way power-adjustable. You'll find a 12.3-inch Driver Information Center display, a massive 13.4-inch infotainment screen with Google Built-In, and a seven-speaker Bose Premium sound system. With adaptive cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a wireless charging pad all included, the High Country is the perfect choice if you spend a lot of time on the road and want to make the most of it. #5. Big Off-Road Capabilities If you want a truck that's just as good for going off-road as it is for driving around town, then Chevy has you covered with three different off-road trim levels. Two of them are off-road versions of other trims, so you can look at the general features of the Custom and LT trims and then pick its Trail Boss version to get an off-road-tuned suspension and much more. If you want the ultimate off-road experience with your truck, then the Silverado 1500 ZR2 is the perfect choice. It has a high-performance lifted suspension with Multimatic DSSV dampers, protective skid plates, Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires, and much more. Ford also has some impressive off-road options available for the F-150, like the Raptor variant, but that starts at a far higher price than the ZR2. Plenty More Reasons As you can see, the Chevy Silverado 1500 has so much to offer that it's the perfect truck for a wide range of drivers. Ultimately, this is one of our favorite things about it since it makes it easier for us to help our customers find the right version of the Silverado 1500 with everything they've been looking for. We didn't even get into the fact that it has larger beds with much more cargo volume than the Ford F-150 or how you can take things even further with special editions like the ZR2 Bison that's been designed in partnership with American Expedition Vehicles to create an incredible off-road machine. No matter what you're looking for from your truck, you can find it in a Chevy Silverado 1500!

Your Buyer's Guide to the 2025 Silverado 1500

Trucks like the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 for sale prove we no longer have to compromise or choose between a truck that's affordable and efficient or luxurious and highly capable. Instead, Chevrolet offers the best of both worlds by ensuring the full-size Silverado 1500 can handle whatever life and the road put in its path. The 2025 Silverado 1500 strikes the perfect balance as an everyday road warrior and adventurer that's easily customizable to your needs. Trims, Cabs, and Beds The Silverado 1500 is one of the most readily customizable trucks in the segment, with the 2025 model continuing that tradition. Available with a Regular Cab, Double Cab, or Crew Cab, the 2025 Silverado 1500 offers broad appeal and can comfortably accommodate your needs. Chevrolet adds to that appeal with the Silverado 1500's various bed options, starting with the 5'8" Durabed that offers 62.9 cu.ft. of space. From there, the 6'6" bed boasts a total cargo volume of 71.7 cu.ft. only to be outshined by the class-leading 8'2" bed with 89.1 cu.ft. The Silverado 1500's cab sizes and bed lengths complement the truck's diverse trim lineup, each with distinct styling and personas. The family tree starts with the Silverado 1500 WT at $37,000, which you can use as a blank canvas and customize to your needs with various options. The Custom and LT add more features, including an expansive digital landscape, LED lighting, and driver-assist technologies. The Silverado 1500 RST caters to those with a penchant for performance, while the LTZ and High Country are the most opulent in the family. Chevrolet also entices adventurers with three trims: the Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss, and ZR2. These trims are trail-ready and have suspension lifts and off-road components, with the ZR2 earning its place at the top of the lineup for its rugged build and outstanding capability on and off the pavement. Capabilities and Efficiency The 2025 Silverado 1500 earns its place in the spotlight as a well-rounded workhorse with an impressive powertrain lineup that includes the only diesel engine in the class. The Silverado 1500's standard engine is a 2.7L turbocharged inline-four that works with an eight-speed automatic transmission to produce 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. The output makes the Silverado 1500 responsive and efficient, with an EPA-estimated average of 19 MPG combined (RWD). It also yields the truck's highest payload capacity of 2,260 lbs and a modest 9,500-lb towing capacity. Chevrolet gives drivers a choice of V8 performance with the Silverado 1500's 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 or 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, both mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. The smaller V8 produces 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, pushing the truck's towing capacity to 11,300 lbs and its payload to 2,180 lbs. The larger 6.2L V8 sees a significant jump to 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, giving the Silverado 1500 the strength to tow up to 13,200 lbs and support a 1,980-lb payload. The Silverado 1500's gas powertrains are impressive, but the Duramax easily steals the show since it's the only option for diesel lovers in the full-size truck segment. The 3.0L turbo-diesel produces 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque, making the Silverado 1500 more engaging and capable with its 13,300-lb towing capacity. Moreover, the Duramax modestly sips fuel, making the diesel-powered Silverado 1500 incredibly efficient with an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 MPG combined (RWD). Trailering Technologies The 2025 Silverado 1500 is one of the most versatile trucks on the road, thanks to a diverse trim family and a multi-engine lineup that offers a broad range of capabilities. Chevrolet encourages drivers to take advantage of the truck's work ethic by equipping it with cutting-edge trailering technologies that foster confidence and control. These start in the front seat, where the Silverado 1500's center touchscreen offers up to fourteen camera views and an in-vehicle trailering app. The Silverado 1500 can be equipped with up to eight cameras that provide comprehensive views around the truck and trailer. From seeing traffic behind the trailer to along its sides as you change lanes, the camera system heightens your situational awareness. At the same time, technologies like Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert provide audible cues to mitigate the potential for collisions. Chevrolet's in-vehicle trailering app also plays a pivotal role in your experience behind the wheel. The trailering app lets you create custom trailer profiles, which makes the towing process easier by providing vital insights into the trailer's performance and diagnostics. For example, you can select the profile, navigate a pre-departure checklist, and monitor the pressure and temperature of the trailer's tires as you travel. Functional Design Elements Chevrolet revolutionized the truck segment when it debuted the Multi-Flex tailgate as a modern alternative to the traditional, stationary tailgate. The 2025 Silverado 1500 combines the Multi-Flex tailgate with a class-leading Durabed for a combination that's impossible to resist. How so? The Multi-Flex tailgate offers six functions that improve how you use the Silverado 1500's bed. The primary and inner gates provide easier access, with load stops keeping longer or taller items in place. Folding the inner gate lets you reach further into the bed, or you can use the inner gate as a full-width step. When you aren't reaching for cargo, you can reposition the primary gate and use the inner gate as a flat work surface. The tailgate's flexible design complements the Silverado 1500's Durabed, the most functional bed in the class. With up to 89.1 cu.ft. of cargo space, the Durabed has a dozen standard tie-downs that make securing cargo easier, whether it's large household appliances, furniture, lumber, or other equipment. Of course, accessing these items is straightforward with the Multi-Flex and the Silverado 1500's signature rear bumper steps integrated into the bumper itself. Connectivity and Safety Tech The 2025 Silverado 1500 is one of the most tech-savvy trucks in the segment, offering drivers a transformative experience with its extensive suite of connectivity, safety, and driver-assist technologies. These technologies start with the digital displays that frame the cockpit. The available head-up display projects vital performance insights onto the windshield and complements the 12.3-inch Driver Information Center. To your right, the Silverado 1500 has an available 13.4-inch touchscreen that serves as a connectivity hub. The Silverado 1500's infotainment touchscreen provides seamless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Google Built-In adds a virtual assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play Store, giving you access to more in-vehicle apps that can enhance your experience wherever the road leads. You can also use the display to access the Silverado 1500's Wi-Fi hotspot, which transforms the truck into a mobile office that keeps you connected mile after mile. Beyond staying connected, the 2025 Silverado 1500's tech prioritizes your safety in the driver's seat. The truck features the Chevy Safety Assist suite of six advanced driver-assist technologies, including Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian Braking. You'll also enjoy standard features like Teen Driver and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. Depending on the trim and package, advanced tools include Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Front and Rear Park Assist, an HD Surround Vision Camera, and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking. Super Cruise is undeniably the most appealing feature on the 2025 Silverado 1500, especially since it's the only hands-free driving tool that works when towing a trailer. It improves your cruising experience and lets you take your hands off the wheel when traveling on compatible highways throughout North America. When trailering, it senses the additional drag of the trailer and makes the necessary adjustments, mitigating driver fatigue by handling the acceleration and braking as long as you focus on the road ahead. Leading the Pack The 2025 Silverado 1500 is well deserving of the spotlight because it showcases Chevy's commitment to building a well-rounded and versatile truck that offers tangible value. The American automaker encourages drivers to treat the Silverado 1500 like a blank canvas, reaping the benefits of its multiple engines, cab sizes, and bed lengths to design the perfect road warrior to partner with you every mile ahead. It's a chameleon engineered to work with you and for you, whether navigating your weekday commute or blazing a new trail in the woods.
