The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado represents the first model of the vehicle’s third generation. A restyled exterior helps it stand out from what came before it, but the biggest differences are the class-leading improvements when it comes to performance and tech.

A Multi-Use Tailgate

New model upgrades don’t have to be restricted to more strength. To improve capability and convenience for the driver, eight fixed tie downs come standard to keep cargo safe and secure. A best-in-class amount of 17 tie downs is also available.

Improvements have also been made to the tailgate to help separate it from the Chevy Silverado and other trucks on the market. A class-exclusive integrated tailgate storage is available for storing tools, first aid, or to be used as a cooler. Additionally, a measurement tool has been built into the tailgate for those times that a tape measure isn’t nearby.

Stronger Than Ever

Tough jobs require a tough truck and that’s why every trim is powered by a new 2.7 Turbo High-Output engine. With the 2023 Chevrolet ZR2 trim, it’s capable of outputting up to 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The maximum towing capacity also leads its class at 7,700 pounds.

Different driving conditions call for different configurations. Five different Drive Modes are available to provide optimal performance when it’s needed:
